Bits and Pieces
I realize I haven't posted in a while, and thank you to those who kindly inquired about me! I have been extremely busy with costumes for the past 3 weeks or so and it looks like I will be for the next couple of weeks.
The other news is that I have an immediate family member that will need two surgeries this winter and spring, which will leave me with helping out quite a bit to make sure things go smoothly. I'm not sure how much time I will have to blog.
That said, I will try to post a few things here and there when I can!
Parting Shot: Franconia Ridge. This was taken last week before the day before the last snow storm, from across Franconia Notch on Cannon Mountain. Even though we don't have a lot of snow at the lower elevations, there is plenty higher up on the mountains!

I hope you will find a little time to keep us all in touch and that the cosumes and subsequent projects go well. Every good wish to you and your relative who needs the surgery. I know only too well what that can involve for a whole family but I am sure you will all come through very well

Good to knowyoull are well! I love the photos too--nothing like winter in NewEngland! Enjoy your sewing and family time, even if it is stressful. I miss your detailed sewing projects and he you will have time somewhere down the road to resume your posts.

Try to get some moments to relax and unwind. It can get hectic for the care-giver too!

Hope things are going well for you and your family member--that is tough. I was just browsing your blog for your tutorial on the prick stitch so I could send the link to a friend--you do such a good job with explanations. Really missing your encouraging post. Hope you are enjoying your time with family. My mom is dealing with cancer and I never want to leave her side...all of your needs will be met with the help of God. Seek him and he will answer, praise him with good and bad he is there with you.
