I chose this button for the tab for the moment.
It is not sewn on, only pinned and I can change it to suit however I'm feeling or accessorizing the dress. I have several that will work now, and it is nice to have a choice!

Parting Shot: Upper Bodice. My daughter is sewing herself a top. This is the most complicated thing she's made so far, and she's doing very well with it. Her sewing skills have improved tremendously since she last sewed. Maybe next weekend she'll get the whole thing done!

Beautiful dress - and I love your tab option. Your daughter's dress is adorable - my daughter just today decided she would tackle making a skirt on her own (she has made some things, but always as a team effort with me helping.) She feels it is a coming of age project! I am so happy that she likes sewing ~ I know exactly how you feel being able to pass on that love on to another generation! And Happy Easter to you all too.
