More Easter Dress Progress

Today I made the skirt - so far, I'm staying on schedule.  I should have no problems finishing this is time to wear.

As you can see, all I need is a zipper, hem and a little bit of finishing.  That zipper is part of tomorrow's plans.

Parting Shot:  New Yarn.  This the yarn I bought on Sunday - a silk and alpaca blend from Blue Sky.  I will be making it into this pattern.

Zippitydoodah! Zippityay! My, oh my! It's dahling, dahling! Loved how you keep us in suspense with just the back showing! And the yarn and pattern are soooooo beautiful. Hubby will adore you in it.

Hi Summerset. Your dress loks beautiful, even if it is pink ;-) I love the colour of the yarn and it looks so soft. I had to laugh at the name of the pattern though... In the UK a "nightie" is short for nightgown and is the long somewhat old-fashioned garment for sleeping in! I see from the pattern it's more of a camisole. Bit short for a nightie!

Cheers,
AJ

Love the way the dress is coming together. Perfect fabric for that pattern.

the dress is very nice. And that nightie! Seems like such a waste to just sleep in it! You could always wear a cami under it, and wear it in public. LOL.

The alpaca will be very warm ;) and will be pretty drapey (just keep that in mind, if you thought of making a summer cami!

But it looks very yummy!
