A Happy Customer
I finished the blouse yesterday and she wore it to school today. The sleeves were very easy to put in as they are drafted like a raglan sleeve, hence no ease to deal with.

She really likes the blouse and is happy with it. It is nice to sew for others who like what you make and appreciate the time and effort put into the items. If you've sewn for any amount of time and have tried sewing for others, I'm sure you understand this!
Parting Shot: Wellie Approved. We recently acquired some bedroom furniture, and it seems that Wellie approves! He usually doesn't sleep there and I haven't seen him there since, either.

That turned out really cute. Something for mum now?
Very cute blouse!
I think we all learn the sad way that putting our sewing efforts where they are far from appreciated just isn't worth it. I sew with a lot of discrimination now! The blouse is darling.
Ah, you have people who appreciate, truly appreciate your sewing. That is the nicest thing that can happen. I have a combination of people who appreciate my sewing and those that don't. I concentrate my efforts on the few - 3 - and brush off the rest. I mean I downright say "no" I'm not going to do that. I have accumulated the business cards of people who professionally do embroidery, mending and computer support and hand out their cards. But to the few that do appreciate my efforts, I'm only too happy to sew, mend and help them as much as they will let me. These people are so wonderful. If I could bless you, it would be with this type of person.
Very cute! I'm glad your family appreciates the lovely sewing you do for them.
This is a lovely blouse. I love the shirt you made for your son, too.
Cute top! Looks very current and fits her perfectly. Lucky girl!
Yay for unselfish sewing! I have just made a t-shirt for my husband and plan to make one for my 16 yo son (much to his horror!) I have told him he doesn't have to wear it if he doesn't like it - that eased his anxiety!
My dress in this fabric is almost finished - did a bit more today, hopefully this week-end I will finish it!
Love the top, love the fabric (obviously).
