Vogue 1132 and Patrones #282, Model #36

Done!

I got the dress done last night and since I plan to wear it Sunday, I thought I'd better some pictures of me wearing it before it becomes Sunday night and I've worn the outfit all day.

Here is the dress by itself. I'm really happy with the way this one turned out - fitted but not tight. I'll definitely keep this pattern in a place where I can find it whenever I need a simple sheath dress again.

Last but not least, this is what you get when you let your husband make styling suggestions. As I was pulling the heels out of the closet, he suggested, "Wear the red tennis shoes!". Alrighty, here they are.

I am really, really happy with the whole outfit. I think there are still some small changes I could make to the jacket, but I'll get to those when I make the plaid version in the next few weeks.

Parting Shot: More Costume Stuff. This time I get to work with the pretty colors and the sparkly trim! Last time I had all the plain, dull colored costumes so this will be more fun.

Such a beautiful outfit - love the fabrics, love the styles, love all of it! Um, except for the tennis shoes :) although the colour match certainly is good!

Gorgeous outfit, the fit on the dress is incredible - your waist is tiny!

Fantastic, you look amazing! Your recap of matching the print over the zipper left me speechless. Great outfit!

LOVE IT! You really do look great in red!

Wonderful, it really suits you. And that is the key "fitted but not tight" so many people on TV are wearing tight in such a cringe making way, becaue they are trying for fitted! They are all too cheap to pay for couture tailoring.

Can't wait to see what you do with the check!

I don't know if you realize this or not but your photos lately are coming across very blurry and grainy.

Wow! You are such an inspiration! Now I want to drop everything and make a sheath dress!

You did a lovely job as always. Thanks so much for sharing the process and the results with all of us!
