Garden Path - Special Announcement!

Give Away!

In honor of the completion of Garden Path and to thank you all for your support and encouragement, I have made two postcards for a give away:

Two lucky readers will each get a postcard. To enter into the give away, just leave a comment on this post. I will be drawing the winners out of the vintage hat box at noon on Sunday, October 18, 2009.

Good Luck!

Parting Shot: Leaves. It looks like I'm going to have to break out the rake soon - this is only about one third of my backyard! The front isn't looking too good, either.

Gorgeous postcards! And as for those leaves - you will be right for mulch/compost.

Beautiful postcards. Beautiful leaves, too,but do not envy yor raking. We have a bunch of pecan leaves to rake, too.

Thank you for the beautiful photographs of the leaves! I'm in the midst of painting on the giant leaves that I've made of nylon ripstop and florist wire, trying to make them look more realistic and not solid red or orange or yellow or green. Your leaves are unlike any in my neighborhood and they are perfect for some of my maples! (Decor for the local high school Fall Choral Concert on Monday...)

I want to be like Summerset! :)
I'm in awe of your perfection and enjoyment of life.

I would love to show off your beautiful work to my students. I've talked about you in my classes. I've told them to stop by to take a look at what you're making. It was amazing to follow this project!
Thank you (hugs)

I love maple leaves, even though raking them can be a pain. I also like postcards, especially the ones you make.

That would be absolutely lovely! I've used your technique of the wood burner and roof flashing to cut organza for my wedding flowers. You inspired me!

And those fall leaves are gorgeous!

True confessions. I would LOVE a postcard - and the postcard is what is giving me the impetus to post this comment.

But it is also a great excuse to thank you for sharing your creativity! Your creations are amazing. Your patience in taking pictures and making SO MANY posts is astonishing - and appreciated.

PS: The ants are my favorite! They are just so whimsical!

Beautiful postcards! And beautiful leaves! What a shame to rake them up, I could look at them all day - what amazing colours!

Those leaves are just too beautiful to rake up. Leave them to bless the earth -- at least until they turn brown!

The postcards are lovely and I would treasure one; especially love the daisy! Thanks so much for all the inspiration you provide.

Beautiful postcards! It would be a pleasure to have one if I'm one of the lucky two! Those leaves are beautiful too - I just love the colors and smells of autumn. I even like raking leaves (as long as they're not wet and matted). :)

I can see what project is planned for this weekend. Try a power washer to remove the leaves. It does a great job and will not damage your other plants or mulch. Really.

Would love a postcard. I guess we could call them Garden Path Commemoratives. GP is one incredible outfit.

Those leaves are about the most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time. Thank you for sharing.

Oh my goodness, your leaves are so multicolored! In Nebraska, our leaves are more yellow and brown and greenish, instead of red. Well, your leaves are beautiful and your Garden Path is beautiful. I would be honored to be picked.
