Allium, In Context
I finished the allium this weekend and was able to start on some surrounding flowers. Here is what this section looks like at the moment:
I need to finish one of those daisies on the left, applique the rose and add all the pansies to fill in below and to the left/right of the allium.I will not be posting tomorrow, because I will be gone all day on a shopping trip to the garment district in NYC! Gorgeous Ann and friends put together a trip and I am able to go along. I also will get to meet LindsayT and Carolyn! I will post all about it on Wednesday.
Parting Shot: Yarrow. My red yarrow is starting to bloom! We still are getting way more rain than sunshine, but maybe that will change soon and the plants will bloom some more.

The allium is beautiful! It really adds a nice touch to the whole piece.
Have fun tomorrow, and I hope that you find lots of goodies!

Your progress is amazing, this is going to be breathtaking when it's finished! Hope you find some treasures tomorrow, I'm looking forward to my visit in August when we're all taking that sewing class with Khalje and King!
What an incredible trip! I am envious.
Your alliums are beautiful as well as your yarrows. Mine are yet to bloom, still tight and green.
Love the allium...you nailed it! Your kids may be able to amuse themselves with the leaves of your red yarrow. It stops bleeding as quickly as a styptic pencil. My kids always run and get a leaf or two for scrapes and bug bites. Have fun in NYC and be sure to grab a piece of the best pizza in the world :-)
Have a great time tomorrow!
How exciting to be able to meet up with them! Have fun.
The allium is awesome. Have a fun day tomorrow!
Wow! That's as beautiful as I thought it would be. The colors are awesome.
Beautiful as always.

You have such vision. I couldn't see where you were going with that Allium, but it really looks like one! I love the daisies, they're my favourite. We have some big yellow marguerites flowering just now.
Wow, I'm so envious, shopping in New York - and in such great blog company too. What's more the rate you sew, you'll be making great things from your purchases in no time!
Have fun!
Cheers,
AJ
