Barcelona Beauty - Finished!
I finished the jacket today, so here are the photos of the outfit! You will have to forgive some of these shots, as I was working with Jr. Photographer #1, because Jr. Photographer #2 had already gone outside to play. (#2 usually does a better job than #1.)
Just for fun, I pulled out the 50's red lizard shoes and the AB necklace to try with the suit:
I am very happy with the suit, although I need to go back and check the sleeve hems. I think the sleeves are wrinkling too much and I might have pulled the lining to tight when hemming.
I owe a special thank you to Paco for the fabric! Thank you, Paco!
Tomorrow, back to the rabbits.
Parting Shot: More Socks. Well, give me a couple of months, and these will be socks. The yarn is Maizy in the color Hibicus by Crystal Palace Yarns. This is a nice sock yarn for people for whom wool and animal fibers are a no-no because it is made of 82% corn fiber and 18% nylon. I will be making the Maizy Lace socks. Stay tuned for progress on those.
