Thank You . .

and a Give Away!

Thank you so much for the kind and encouraging comments over the past few days. I really appreciate them! In turn, I have made a couple of Forget Me Knot postcards that I will give away to two lucky people:

If you would like to be included in the drawing for one of the postcards, please leave a note in the comments. The drawing will be on Monday at noon from the vintage hat box. I'll do a quick post with the winners names and hopefully get the addresses so I can mail them on Tuesday before I leave for Paducah, KY.

Parting Shot: Pix. It seems that Pix has found a soft place to lie down and still have a good view out the window! Those are actually pieces for the large quilt I'm working on.

let me try & rephrase my comment - I love the postcards because the Forget Me Not is the "official" flower of the Alzheimer's association, and I do whatever I can to help raise money for them. I hope you'll include me in the drawing.

Thanks. They are truly beautiful.

See, Pix doesn't even want to work on the quilt! LOL! I had a quick an uneventful trip home. It's always good to be home again but I had a fantastic week and look forward to visiting with you and Sue next year and will see you in a few months I suppose! Good luck in Nashville next week!

The postcards look awesome. If you could, please include me in the drawing. Like one of the ladies mentioned, I'll take the kitty as the 1st prize and the card as the second. LOL. Both are very cute :):):):):)

I am always impressed with your creativity, Sumerset. I am amazed that you get all that done and teach too. Redbuds might still be blooming when you get to Paducah, they are just about finished here in Nashville. Ask someone local if they are still in bloom.
Good luck at the show.

Our big, handsome kitty (18 lb- Simon Templar Wheelwell; rescued as a kitten from the spring in a pickup's wheelwell) likes to sit on my fabric and patterns too.

I would like to also leave my congratulations on your win. I truly love reading about your sewing projects and watching an item progress from an idea to a beautiful, wearable piece of artwork. I am also thinking of doing a SWAP next year.

Congratulations on your win at MQX. Your work is amazing and hopefully someday I will see it in person. Seeing the "vintage" patterns you use brings back alot of memories.

The postcards look very yummy and I would feel very honored if you choose my name out of the hat.
